hot chocolate with Katy

Today our class room switched rooms (whoaa) and we flipped order of which teacher we had first. Katy and I decided we didn't like it because we liked looking forward to having Ruben, our beautiful Spanish teacher second! Susana is a decent teacher, but a lot of times she just says No! when you answer a question wrong rather than being more gentle and encouraging.

After class, Katy went with me to Corte Ingles because I wanted to try to return my towel. Last Thursday I had bought a towel since we were heading to the pool and I hadn't brought one from home. When I got back to my house with my towel though, my sister said I could just borrow hers (the towel I bought was $17!!). So after class we walked to Sol. Luckily they gave me my money back NO problem :)

After returning my towel, Katy and I decided to get some coffee before going home. Instead of coffee we ended up getting hot chocolate which was a FABULOUS idea!!! The hot chocolate here is nothing like I've ever had. It's literally like a melted chocolate bar! It's so thick and rich and delicious! Definitely becoming a new staple in my diet!!! :)

After our hot chocolate date, Katy and I went home for dinner, but met back up at 4 to go shopping with Sina. We went to Barrio del Pillares, which has a HUGE shopping mall. We spent about 4 hours just walking around and talking. At one point we got drinks because they had our favorite 100 Montaditos. Since Sina doesn't know English very well, we spent the entire time talking in Spanish!! :) While some of it was fairly choppy, we were able to get our points across.. And of course buy some cute clothes!! I've declared that I'm done shopping for at least a couple of weeks!!! My pocket book needs a rest!!!! Sina and I also got an really sweet massage from these massage chairs for 4 minutes for 1 euro. It was really good except for the part where it was massaging your tush.. Awkward!!

After shopping, I was pooped so I went home, ate dinner, did my homework, and crashed!
